Its a good pistol for the price. Simple and reliable, but the trigger pull isn't the greatest. A friend of mine let me shoot it and it shot fine, no issues.
For around $400 you can get a new Ruger SR9C which is much better in my experience.
As best I can remember it was the "NY." At the time there was only one to my knowledge, and it was universally despised by one and all. I think that's the reason he used it - which proved his point.
Trigger pull weight is not the evil we make of it.
