I picked up a Sabatti 308 bolt action 26"heavy barrel the multi-radical rifling. It was lightly used like new what can anyone tell me about it.

So this is one of the new Evo tactical models rather than the older Rover models? The old Rovers were fairly pedestrian hunters but have now been modernized and are probably as accurate as anything in the sub $1000 range. In fact, all current Sabatti bolt actions have multi-RADIAL rifling and cold hammer forged barrels that should be MOA guaranteed. Multi-radial rifling sounds a bit like a new twist on microgroove rifling to me, but with today's engineering, manufacturers can produce very good, very accurate barrels. Period. Should be a great rifle. Congratulations.

I am interested in the multi-radial rifling. I suspect gimmickry (while not suggesting it is other than accurate) but always interested to hear critiques of marketing claims.

Looking forward to a range report.

I looked up "multi-radial rifling" on the internet. It seems to be a variation of hexalgonal rifling. Instead of the straight sides of the polygon are slightly curved and the 'clean' corners are more rounded. Looks like it would require a rounded cutter to rifle one. (Not my problem.) I presume that with proper care, it will shoot as well as any other form of rifling. I have no real world experience.

If they are built anything like their double rifles are built, I'd be shocked if it shoots well. But I could be wrong. Only way to tell is to shoot it and see.
At least on the bolt gun, the muzzle won't be all ground up, trying to get it regulated!! lol
