i bought a drop leg holster from safariland a year ago for cheap. It's the 6004 for a glock with the glock light. I thought any light would fit on there but i guess it's specific to the factory glock light. I now have a tlr-1s and it doesn't fit. I was wondering if say i got the paddle holster that will work for the tlr-1, will it screw off and screw on to the drop leg plate? same bolt pattern? if it works it'll save me from buying a new holster. thanks in case someone knew, i'll also be contacting safariland if they could sell me just the screw on holster...

I am not an impartial observer, and I have a material interest in this discussion. We sell Safariland products.

That said,

In "Safariland-speak", there are three sets of numbers, typically something like XXXX-XXX-XXX.

The first set of numbers indicates the style of the holster.

The second set of numbers indicates the "fit", or the specific firearm or firearm/light combination.

The third set of numbers indicates the color/finish of the holster.

This is a link to the Safariland light-bearing holster chart:

Hope those are useful to you.

thanks that has been very helpful. In case someone asked the same question, yes you can unscrew the regular holsters and screw them onto the leg shroud.

wow they are pricy. I local shop has the 6004-832 holster i need for 125 so i might just get a new one and sell this one on ebay...
