With the CZ Phantom becoming more available again, I thought I would help a few folks out with the greatest hurdle any CZ fan ever has: Duty Holsters

I have had three workable options over the years:

1) For when I have a TLR-1S mounted, the Safariland 6004-383 for the Glock 20 & 21 works well. This is a thigh holster that I have dismounted from it's plate. Most Safariland holsters share a common mounting hardware configuration, so they can be moved from mounting system to mouting system pretty easily. This one has a QLS fork on the back like my other Safariland holsters. Important note: Don't get too excited about Glock 21 holsters. Most don't fit the Phantom. This one probably only works because of the extra size for the light.

2) The Safariland GLS 578 Pro-Fit Long with the trigger guard insert installed. In my opinion, it's in the same class as a regular Serpa, just safer. Certainly not a full up duty holster. I wouldn't trust it to keep the gun in a retention fight, but for plain clothes/low threat environment stuff it does the trick.

3) The Blade-Tech WRS. Yes, Blade-Tech does have a mold for the Phantom and they will make you a WRS for one if you ask them. This is actually the second they have made for me. It's important that you ask them to make it for the Phantom because the one for the normal SP-01 is configured for the hammer to be down, and the Phantoms half cock state will bind the hood.

Now, why did I ask Blade-Tech to make me a second one? Did I break the first? Wear it out? No, I'm just crazy. Remember when I mentioned that I like Safariland QLS earlier? It turns out that if you squint hard enough, Blade-Techs mounting hardware is kind of set up like Safarilands...So, if you ask Blade-Tech to make a holster without the hardware thread locked in place... and you drill a hole in the right place on a QLS fork... you get one of these...

A Blade-Tech WRS holster with a Safariland QLS fork on it. And one very happy me. Side note: The original Blade-Tech rubber spaces were retained on the mounting hardware posts. The screws to secure the fork in place are the Safariland ones with the notched heads that come with the QLS hardware.
