Starting to see rebates and other promotions on ammunition for the fall. Hopefully that is a sign that production is finally getting back to more normal levels.

** Mods -- Discussion about what availability people are seeing. If different category is better please move.

I see both Remington and CCI are rebating 30 Super Carry. For CCI it's the only rebate. For Remington it's the only metallic.

I was in Academy last week, they were clearing out all their 30 SC.

It certainly looks like that cartridge is swiring clockwisedown the drain.

I just wish they would reduce pricing overall, not offer a rebate afterwards... I guess if they charged 25 percent less at the wholesale level, people would be buying like crazy so there's that...

The places that offer rebates know that most buyers, especially males, do not fill out the rebate forms. The promise of money back makes the sale, then the rebate never gets turned in.

Back in 2019and early-mid 2020 I was buying cases of CCI SP and LR primers, and getting big money back with rebates.

It's not a good sign, no sales mean no monies.

Trickle down economics is kicking our butts and inflation is having our lunch.

Guns are going to be given away in the months to come unless some artificial stimulus is created or a solution occurs that solves inflation and the strain against wages.

Who knows what comming! .I do know prices of thing such as guns are not inflating, and trucks <<<< nobody can afford a $80k pickup truck

No. Any artificial stimulus will make the already bad situation worse. And the inflation monster that is kicking our butts and eating our lunch right now is going to get worse before it gets better. Been there seen that circa late 1970's and early 1980's when I was a college student with a wife and two toddlers. I lived it.
22%+ auto loans. 30%+ Credit card interest. Mortgage rates as high as 16%. And that was when they calculated inflation semi-honestly. In the 90's they took fuel and food out of the calculation of inflation rate. This advertised rate of 3.2% year-over-year is really closer to 12% to 14% and maybe higher than that. I do not see an easy way out and this could get really, REALLY ugly before it gets better. People raiding the convenience stores and Walgreens in San Francisco and Chicago might be very small potatoes to the food riots that may be coming.

Being able to buy guns and ammo to play with will be the least of our concerns.
Me? I believe I am lucky. I owe nobody any money, have a small nest egg (VERY small) and have more guns and ammo (and components) than I can shoot for what's left of my life, I am fairly sure.

This is the reason I don’t let rebates affect my buying decisions anymore.

The roads are full of them though. It would cost me over 100k to replace my 1Ton Dually.
I can think of better ways to toss that money out the window. MORE GUNS!!
followed by the repo truck !

Truck are dropping in price like flys! this is one of my internet youtube interest

99.9% of vehicles drop in price like flies. Baffles my mind when people bitch about the cost of a gun when they loose more than that in a new vehicle per month!
I was thinking the same thing! Gun are forever! cars are like 15 years and $0!

Went truck shopping on Friday as mine is on its last legs. 07 Dodge, fully loaded, crew cab, paid 37k brand new. To replace it 65k.

When I came to Wisconsin my assignment was supposed to be 1.5 to 2 yr, so I got an apartment. I drive around my neighborhood to new houses being built they start at 375k. They all have new trucks and new SUVs sitting in the driveway.

I work for a pretty large utility company and build hot rods on the side. Just my salary at the utility company I make 3 times the average in Wisconsin. The employers that pay what I make in my area are very slim. I fail to understand how some people have what they have.

$400k - $600k house with 2x $70k SUV’s & Trucks??? Makes ZERO financial sense.

Don’t wonder about other people, complete waste of time. Keep doing you, work hard, save your $$$$ - retire early free & clear

Same here. We moved last year and houses in the neighborhood were a minimum of 350K. One across the street is up for sale at $599,999. The houses under 400K usually sell the first week, sometimes the first day. And for more than the asking price. And everyone has 2 or more expensive vehicles parked in the drive. Escalades, Denalis, Platnums, ect. Many of these people are Military or retired military. I'm just a poor broke retired Lineman!
I'm guessing these people are just paying the interest on their loans and living on credit cards. A few probably have some real money and the rest................!

But back on topic:
I have to admit that I watch for and take advantage of sales. Not so much with rebates. I
have learned that on sales that you need to watch for different shipping prices between the regular price and the sale price. Not saying that vendors are dishonest, just saying..........!
