Groups like Gottlieb's, she said, try to paint her efforts as being extreme.
"If you call some of the things we're doing extreme, like trying to keep guns out of schools and churches, then we have no common ground on this issue," Kennedy said.

Just your typical, average, garden variety whacko leftist extremist who believes children's lives aren't worth defending and criminals never attack people in churches. If she were even remotely concerned about violence, she'd militate against criminals, not firearms.

As for the cop: I'd say he's politicking in uniform.
