An interesting shooting.

4 cops. 25 feet. 19 shots. 4 hits. All 4 from the same officer. 15 misses from the other three.

"The department can provide the trappings, but the individual must provide the requiem (sic) personal devotion and determination. On this group of four, only one did."

It was a good shoot in that the bad guy was stopped AND there are three officers who will be sharpening their skills for the better. It's fortunate that their flawed fusillade didn't find any undeserving bystanders.

And unless that guy really meant that those officers needed to sleep on it, he might have tried the word "requisite" instead :D

Of four ostensibly trained police officers, only one was competent enough to decisively end the fight. He carried the fight for the other three and may have saved their lives. To be sure, all were courageous for answering the call and for being there, but courage does not substitute for competence.
Disgracefull IMO ... if these guys wish for public respect .. and a reputation for firearms competance .. they'd better get their a$$es to the range double quick and polish up.

It is not a good advertisement ....... quite the opposite.

Kudos to the marksman.

"That guy" is John Farnam, one of the top firearms trainers, and his shooting is much better than his writing! :D

But his Quips and Quotes are still worth reading. There's a ton of information there.
