I am looking for a varmint/target stock for my Savage 110 J LH (with detachable mag). This odd bird has action screw spacing of 4.5 in. The J was made from about 1975 to 1983. This rifle was a 243 and now has a bull barrel 22-250. I want a blind mag well don't want deal with the trying to keep a detachable mag.
Stocky has nothing that will fit and Richard Micro fit is not answering their phone and the Email get an auto reply.
Any suggestion?
An other idea is to weld up the current front action screw hold then drill and tap an new hole setting the gap to 4.25? Any thoughts?
