Stock compatibility

My son has a Savage 111 LH 30-06. Which is the long action. He'd like to swap the black synthetic blind mag stock for a walnut one. Will the factory 110 series fit? Theres a lot more available. I think so but want to make sure before ordering one. Thanks.

You should be fine, just make sure you get the correct type of bottom metal inletting, and bolt release.
I'm fairly sure the long action 110s use all the same screw placement, unlike the shorts which have 3 or 4 variations.

I can’t speak for the differences on the long action rifles.

Now on the Savage short action , there are several differences. One is the spacing between the bolts and another is staggered feed vs center feed magazines.

Savage has tweaked their actions and stocks over the years. Depending on when it was made may matter.
