Savage Axis II XP Questions

I did do it that way. :D Mine and a .30-06 were the only ones left, and I didn't want one in .30-06.

I would have bought the '06 also...actually I did buy 2 '06's before the final drops but they were still too cheap to pass on. I mean I have a few hundred '06 rounds from a m1 I had and some other factory and no '06 rifles and a 30'06 is a good one to keep as trade fare or a beater rifle

How about one of the 110`s in 06?

There are about three different .30-06's I'd like to own, none of them a Savage. Nothing against Savages (obviously, I own one in .223, and it's my second one), but the 3 I want are a Kimber 84 Montana or Hunter, M1917, or M1 Garand. (OK, maybe a pre '64 Model 70......)

I think your talking about the walmart special. If I see one again ima snatch it up and slap a Boyd's stock on it.

I was running g all over san antonio just missing sale after sale. It hurt seeing all these rifles selling for pennies and I couldn't snatch a single one. When you see a good deal on a rifle buy it. It's an investment that will turn fast.
