I have the oppurtunity to buy a stainless Savage bolt rifle in .243 Winchester with a fluted barrel and muzzlebreak. Does anyone have experience with Savage adjustable muzzle breaks? I have heard they can be diffacult to clean and can become diffacult to adjust if the barrel gets hot? Truthfully, I am looking for field rifle I do not have to be so careful with and I can get a very good deal on this rifle. It just happens to have a muzzlebreak which I would never have turned on in the field. Any help or advise would be appreciated. Thankyou for your time and patience.
