According to the State legislature website it appears SB0011 was passed by the Senate Judiciary Committee by a vote of 9-0. It now moves on to the Calender and Rules Committee in both houses where it should be set up for a vote by the full House and Senate.
This bill "extends the circumstances under which there is a legal presumption that a person using deadly force in self defense had a reasonable belief of death and confers civil immunity upon a person properly using self defense."
