Scope mounts/rings for CZ Carbine

Does anyone know what scope mounts are best for CZ Carbine in 7.62x39? I would like to get see-through rings and mount a Weaver 6-24x42 scope.
I know that the scope is overpowered for this small rifle, but I already have the scope and really like it. Will CZ 527 rings work? They are a bit expensive. Any other suggestions?
Any advice will be appreciated.

See through rings would be a bad idea in my opinion...The drop on that comb in unique to begin with, and the bolt handle design leads many folks to recommend a high ring for optics on this gun. That leads to an awfully uncomforatble cheek weld for most...Adding see through rings would probably lead to you having almost no cheek weld at all....The other side of that coin is that the 527 takes a "proprietary ring" and I don't know of any one who makes a see through ring for it....I mounted a 3-9x40 Nikon Prostaff on my 527 Carbine in 7.62x39, and used Millet Low rings....I had to modify (read: remove some material) the bolt handle to make it work, but to me the rifle feels alot better that way than any other way....

Chaseguitar, thanks. Are the CZ factory rings for 527 carbine low, medium, or high? I am concerned that Weaver 6-24x42 will not clear the bolt handle with low rings. It is bigger than your scope. I do not want to modify the bolt handle, as nice as it is.

Not awnsering your question, but see through rings ruin the lines of any gun and in my humble opinion there's really no reason for them.

A properly set-up scope with a rifle that fits you should be able to throw it up and find what your looking for if it's 5 yards or 500 yards.

Crappy weather, buttler creek caps and you can flick them up without a second thought.

the cz top receiver is made specifically for the cz mounts and rings. it has a female notch on the rear bridge, made for the male portion on one of the mounts. the rings come in two heights that I know, med. and high, i mounted the same size scope on two 527's, and with mediums, I had to dremel the bolt handle. Get the highs.
