I have a flat top receiver on my AR-15 and I want to get a scope to mount on it. If I remove the scope and remount, will I have to re-zero?

I use Larue and Leupold rings and they retain a constant zero. I just put them on and take them off the same way each time. I have never had to re-zero either rifle.

only way to know is to try, since every gun is different... just put it on, shoot a group.. remove it, put it back on, then shoot a group... if it goes to the same place, then it probably does. then do your zeroing afterwards.
