Stopped in a LGS today to look at a Uberti El Patron for the third time. Used but unfired.
It's a 357 with CCH frame and blued 5.5 inch barrel and checkered grips.
Asking price was $550 and I asked for his best deal. He said $400 cash and I couldn't get my wallet out fast enough.
I was going to offer $450 so I am ecstatic. This thing is beautiful and I can't wait to shoot it. This is my first purchase from this LGS but won't be my last.

Congrats, and welcome to the club! Now load up some LSWC’s and set those targets way out there and watch ‘em fall.

Bought this DeSantis Desperado holster and belt not long after I bought my Beretta Stampede. A very well made rig that at the time didn't set me back all that much. Just looked at their current catalog and definitely the prices have gone up a bit (like everything else), but I still think it's a decent buy for the money.

E751F2B7-777F-454F-B5AF-93DABBFD0AB5.jpeg Sorry, I do not have a solo portrait of my old Italian 1873 Artillery Model but here it is with a few other revolvers. Got it in 1973-4, chambered in 45 long Colt. Shot it a few times and liked it enough to craft a set on one piece stags grips for it. In the late 70s, I found a cylinder chambered in 45 ACP, fitted it and preferred it to the long Colt. So, it is now permanently installed and the long Colt is gone. I also fitted a new front sight.

I have a 7 1/2” barreled one, also ACP, that I am considering cutting the barrel back 2”.

I really like my SAA clone.

It's not a fancy Patron model, but it provides the good vibes

so the grips I got from a friend. He has a Patron and didn't like the grips... so I traded him!

Holster is an El Paso.

I thought those grips looked familiar.
That's a fine looking revolver. Other than the brass grip frame it looks just like my Patron.
I'm now officially on the lookout for a killer deal on an El Patron in 45LC.

A fine collection of wheelguns! Great looking grips on all of them too!

Thank you. The revolvers and grips were gathered over several decades. The M25-2 came with a set of white stocks (perhaps the ones currently on the Commercial 1917), but now wears a set of generic plastic. The two self loaders sport ivory micarta stocks. The single actions all have smooth elk antler grips I made over the years. The S&Ws have a mix of plastic (already mentioned), elk, and one set of ivory. I was given the ivories over for decades ago by a gentle who was soon to leave this shooting range. He saw I was carrying and shooting a 1917 with service stocks and borrowed a screwdriver, removed his stocks and asked me to use them on my EDC piece. At that time, Ohio did not permit concealed carry but I accepted them and put them on my Court revolver and wore it when testifying. They are now on one of my M22-4s and get carried frequently.

In looking at the photo, I realize I did not include a couple. Oh well, perhaps a different thread.

Again, thank you for your compliments.

Kevin

Nice find for the OP!

I own various kinds of handguns. For pure shooting enjoyment, my SA revolvers are at the top of the list. :)
