Self-defense Ammo

Alright, I have a question for all -

In your daily carry handgun, what is your preferred self-defense manufacturer of choice and why? Currently I carry Corbon 185 grain HPs in .40S&W as they were recommended to me by a friend in LE.

I carry 147gr. Remington Golden Sabers in my CZ P-01, 124gr. Golden Sabers in my MK9, and 102gr. Golden Sabers in my P3AT. I will probably be changing the load in my MK9 to a 147gr. round, and my P3AT load to FMJ for better penetration. I'll use anything that is of the correct caliber for the gun. I have given up worrying about what bullet to use and concentrate on how to shoot & hit my target. If you can consistently make COM & failure drill headshots while on the move, any bullet you use will probably have the necessary effect.

Unless your LE friend has gotten into several gunfghts with various brands of ammo, their knowledge of ammo is about as meaningful as our forum posters. LE typically use Agency issue ammo (issue = lowest bid). Even SWAT uses Dept issue ammo, usually FMJ hereabouts.
