"Tamara
M2 Carbine,
You have semiauto Contenders and Derringers? COOL!"

Hey, give me a break it's going on 1 AM and I'm dozing off, I didn't see semi auto.:D

I have to admit the Contender's rate of fire is a little slow.;)

I found alignment with 6 brands listed.

My others were:

Browning BDA-380
Arcus 98DAC

Safe Shooting,

CZ52'

P.S. I guess my CZ-52 would fall into other also because the present CZ company is not directly affiliated with the firm that made the CZ-52...

WHOOPS!

I checked Ruger and Springfield, having lost track that I was on Handguns: AUTOLOADERS forum. Sorry 'bout that.

I also wish that Browning was listed as a choice . . . .

Poll

I have just recently purchased my first Hand gun, a Springfield XD9 sub-compact 3". I'm very happy with it.

I've at least one from everyone on the list except HiPoint.

I've little brand loyality. Lots of good guns out there, but unfortunately every maker lets some bad ones slip thru.

Jennings/Bryco/Davis is not a gun for anyone who plans to shoot it for fun -- OK as a single shot self defense pistol that might empty the clip if you are lucky and can't afford better. Often the threat of shooting is enough to make the scum move on, so they have a place in the market but not to anyone on this list unless you need a gun to practice clearing jams with :) Admittedly a skill worth practicing from time to time.

The "other" category can cover a lot.

At least, those in my safes that don't fit the categories listed:
Steyr-Hahn
Desert Eagle
Kahr
Caspian
DWM Luger
Norinco 1911

:D
