I work in a business casual office. They're not too strict, but they don't want patch pockets or cargo pockets. I can't carry at work but obviously, I'd like them to be IWB-friendly for after hours, which doesn't require too much, but if they have a stretchy waist, that would help a lot; I wouldn't have to buy them 2" too big.
I found a pair of pants at Costco a few years ago that have a hidden cargo pocket. the pants are nylon with a stretchy waist and I just love them. I wore out one and the other pair is on its last leg, so to speak.
I could probably get by with something from 5.11, but I'm not looking to spend $75+.
