Service Revolvers

[Tallball]

This was sold as a police trade-in. It's a 2" Model 10 from... 1961 or so, IIRC. It's a very nice shooter. I have a few other revolvers that I suspect were service issue, but this is the only one I am reasonably sure of (a large outfit was selling a bunch of them).

The picture is terrible. It looks better in person.

It won't fit anything now- take a second look at it- there's a hole punched in it and when it came out, it drug the spring out the side. Some savage had it in his little chest rack.

I have a 3" M65 that I bought from an LEO friend of mine. Before they went to Glocks, it was her service revolver which her grandfather bought for her, so she's happy it went to a friend and a good home. I was stunned when I tried the DA for the first time - it's got the smoothest action I've ever felt on a factory revolver - a rare gem.

This my Manurhin MR73 from the 80's. it is a beat up former police revolver but no way could i justify the price of a new one! The adjustable trigger springs are pretty neat. You can take it as light as your primers will allow.
