I took a lady friend out shooting for the first time Saturday. It was sunny and cold. We started out with a .22 single shot rifle (Rem. 514) Then I got out the old .410 single shot (Newport). We were shooting at empty plastic bottels at an abondend gravel pit. After the first shot with the .410 when the plastic bottle flew 3 feet in the air She did a happy dance!! The .22 made the bottels wiggle, the .410 made them jump. I wish I had brought more ammo for it.
She also liked my .22 pistol, but wanted to shot something that would move the pop bottels more!! We used up all the .22 amo i brought too!!
She tried out my 12 gauge pump duck gun with 1oz loads. But even with the weight, recoil pad, and heavy cloths she only took about 10 shots. Too much recoil
She wants too go again!!
