So I was shooting a 3 gun match last month and my glasses fogged up pretty good on the 200 yard range. SOOO, how do you guys keep your glasses from fogging up?

Maybe a little bit of Fog-X?

Ivory soap works best on snowmobile helmet visors. If it can keep that from fogging, it can keep anything from fogging!

Take a damp rag and rub it on the bar of soap. Use the rag to apply a film of soap over the entire lens, inside and out. Let the glasses dry for a bit and polish the soap off with a soft dry rag. Think like waxing a car....

There is spray stuff on the market too, but this is free. Who doesn't have a bar of soap and a rag?

Great advice. Thanks. I will give it a try this weekend and let ya know how it goes. Match is Sat so we will see I guess.

Thanks for the advice Frozen North. I'm gonna have to give that a try tomorrow. This heatwave is no joke, my shooting glasses get way too foggy in this weather.

You can use RainX brand automotive windshield treatment it won't damage optical plastic lenses,or if you can find it there is a product called CatCrap, it's made specificaly
your problem.

Azmjs, fogging happens, even out here. During the monsoon season out here my lenses tend to fog while shooting evening matches. From time to time I'll apply a bit of rainex to the inside of my shooting glasses. That seems to resolve most of the fogging by letting the mosture slide down the lenses and outta the way.

I use Cat Crap on my shooting glasses, I actually bought it for use on my skiing goggles, and it works well unless.................the top frame or bottom of the lens touches my face. If that happens they still tend to fog up. I believe I do have some of that Fog X here, should I use that instead?

I would not use Rain X glass treatment.. It destroys motorcycle windshields. They do have a product for specific product for plastic however is is billed as a cleaner, not fogproofing agent. . As far as treatments for scuba masks, those lenses are shatterproof glass so the dishwasher liquid probably won't be that effective. The trick is to allow a flow of air which can be a problem with tight fitting frames.
