That is one cool target. you would win if this was a contest.
here he is repainted . sinister as ever. some people dress up the target, i don't. here he is with a shorty fishing vest. my son doesn't want to shoot the target since it's "human". i tell him to j 20180305_115725.jpg ust aim for the crosshairs.

the plate angles down and is free to swing back but not forward. the head angles but not as much. it's from big dog steel.

I have a heavy swinging metal target about the size a palm. Just set it out - listen for the clang and watch it swing. When done, pick it up and go. No mess, very easy- and fast to set up/take down.

We have lots of metal targets cut out here from 1/4" to 3/8" to 1/2" thick in rectangle to circle type, I just haven't give my son the, go
ahead. to finish his work o them until I am sure they are safe.
Where can I get any Ideas in how to build them safe & proper? ? ? ? ?
We can leave them in place year round here, no one will bother them.
I am going to have some long over due bulldozer work done on the shooting lanes here this spring and leave the metal set up, with
safe 4 wheeler trails inside them for \ perishable / target access.
