obviously, either Colt or Bolt

Take in the account that dog will not likely remember a longer name.

Sierra is a good name. A high power shooting friend named his daughter that. I'm glad he doesn't shoot Nosler bullets! I also know a shotgun shooter that named his son Dustin Clay.

I like Sarah Palin's Trig. One syllable works words well with training. You're not going to run out back yelling Cosmoline, here Cosmoline.

Since Trig is short for Trigger it is a good one:)

I had a female Pit Bull, called her Winnie... :)

thanks for all the suggestions.

The people we adopted her from have been calling her Coco, and the wife has decided that she likes that the best. So I guess I'll have to wait until next time to name a dog after my favorite sport.

A lab... hmmm.. Pistol Whip. Because that tail with do 2d6 damage to anything knee-high.

Dammit, I'm late on this one. I had a dog named Remington, we just called him Remmy. I've allways liked odd names for pets. I named one of the wife's cats Fido, she didn't care for that. Our current dog is named chicken! An old friend of my fathers gave his dog the name Rabies. I loved that one.
