"Guns are for people who can't use their brains"? That's a new one to me! I've heard that gun owners are "sexually disfunctional", and that guns are "phallic symbols"!
Guns AND brains are "tools". You can know how to use your brain, but if you don't have, say, a screwdriver, your brain isn't going to accomplish getting that screw into the wood. Ask the anti-'s what they'll use if they run out of toilet paper!
When I was younger, the I.Q. tests that I had to take in school revealed that my I.Q. was 154. Anything above 160 is, supposedly, "genius", so I guess that I'm a fairly intelligent individual.
I studied hard in school, did my homework, and was doing quite well. That was back in 1966. I could have gone on with my education, but I had a "calling"....and enlisted in the military! Well, I got "stuck" in South Viet Nam for 13 months! While in combat, I used my BRAIN and my issued WEAPON to get me through almost countless tough situations. Had I not had my WEAPON, my brain would have been splattered in some rice paddy!
Anti-gunners are, basically, scared to admit that they are COWARDS! In their way of thinking, it's "okay" for the military and police to have guns, but fail to realize that the bad guys could care less about the laws, and the police/military can't be everywhere all of the time! Their brains are shooting "blanks"!
