Short 'plug' screws for Mossberg MVP

Just got a MVP Patrol..REALLY like it but I wish to use the iron sights only..wish to remove the picatinny rail. BUT, the mounting holes go all the ay through AND the mounting screws are too long..

So, anybody have a source for short, 'plug' screws I can install in these holes? Don't want to just leave them open.

You can order some, but I'd bet any gun shop that mounts scopes for customers has a box full of them and will probably give you enough.

Wow, thanks but I was kinda hoping for ones that are button head, so they don't migrate down, onto the bolt..since the holes go all the way thruogh.

My local Ace Hardware has these, believe it or not. These are in the trays of "Gun Screws" in the aisle with all the fasteners.

Found these, pretty easy..didn't now they were a 'thing'..pretty new to a rifle with a rail...
