Short Range Report with S&W M&P and the SD

Was shooting a little bit today using a target from Pistol Training. You start at 3 yds and back out to further ranges. This target is 5 yds. Not great but not real bad. I have seen others do much better. I shot my S&W SD 9VE with cheap Magtech 115gr bullets. The M&P 40 ammo was Freedom Ammunition remanufactured 180 gr. Anyway I was kind of impressed by the SD considering the trigger pull complained about. I kind of like it actually. I also read some posts where the M&P's are not accurate but the 40 did well. Again, 5yds is not far but I'll go to 7yds next and see what happens, then 9, 11, 15 yds. Anyone else use this type of target for practice?

I forgot....the flyers were when I get excited at doing well It always happens sad to say and it ruins everything. Anyone else get excited and start to get flyers?
