But like I said I am getting old and slow.
Gordon, do yourself a big favor and read
this, then take it to heart.
If we're going to be able to use sticks effectively at 80, we gotta do this.
I keep a copy of it on my desk, which is near my pullup bar, ab wheel and weights. I'm a student of Ross Enamait (by his books). I ride my bike or walk everyday.
I also take a LOT of motivation from
these guys, both because I appreciate the spirit with which they find ways to exercise, and because I know guys like that are out there - regardless of skin color (that's not the issue here) - and may want what I have on me. (Warning: language in that video may be offensive to some. Also, be sure to check out some of the videos linked to that one, especially about the guy named Hannibal.)
I'm slightly over 60, but the word "old" is not in my vocabulary, and I get up in people's faces in a nasty sort of way if they use it in my direction; my friends all know better.
Older? Sure. I've been getting that since I was born.
But old? Never. It's a matter of principle for me.
