Shot a 3-gun match saturday, vid for those interested

I did okay with the shotgun and pistol, but suuuuuuucked with the SCAR 16. I'd only sighted it in at 20 yds with a mathematical zero (supposed to get me on steel at 200 but was waaaay off). I ended up taking off the aimpoint and running irons, and sucking just as bad. Maybe I'll trade it for 4 garands.

Moral of the story... zero your rifle properly before shooting in competition.

Still lots of fun, though.

Thanks for posting the video. Looks like you did pretty good w/ the pistol too.

Shooting through a barrel... I bet brass was bouncing around all over!

I generally do okay with pistols up close... I'm starting to wonder if I need glasses.

hadn't zeroed properly, and can't see properly apparently. LOL

I eventually walked in the hits with help from my spotters but this was embarrassing. A good time on this stage was under 30 seconds... I ended up with 91 seconds. Ugh.

Start on paper silhouettes, 3 rds each, then hit steel ~4 inch poppers at about 50 yds, 3 hits each, and one ~8 inch hostage taker swinger at about 100 yds.

On the final stage with steel at 200+ yds I took 11 misses out of 15. LOL
