Browning has always tended to make nice stuff, and that hasn't changed.

Considering the anniversary, it's probably fitting that the Browning firearm that grabbed my interest most was a perfectly downsized little 1911 in .22LR. The 1911-22 will be available in 4 1/4 full-size and 3 5/8" compact pistols. These both feel great. They come with a very nice leather and canvas pistol rug with lock. The rug has John Moses Browning's signature and a "1911-2011" logo.

These little guns should make perfect trainers, or just fun plinkers. I would love to see this handgun in .32 or .380, but since these use a blowback action, this may not happen.
