Yeah, that was vexing me, too--especially as I have all the right gear to make really nice, well-staged, photos. But, it appears none of my to-its are round.

I grew up enamored by the Kimber ads that were on the back of practically every American Rifleman magazine. I knew as soon as I had the money, I would buy one. So here it is, my first 1911, a Custom Carry II and my only .45 currently. I replaced the panels and added night sights to make it a little less plain.

How has the SR 1911 performed for you? Saw a Govt size in person recently. Seemed well fit to me. Liked what I saw for sure.

I love mine. Ruger makes a damn nice 1911.

The example I saw seemed very well done. Not too tight, not too loose, fit well with no slide overhang, and nice trigger.

Like Goldilocks…. Just right. Musta been made mid week. Definitely not on a Monday or Friday for sure!!

Mine is a retired range rental so God ony knows how many thousands of rounds it has on the clock and it still runs like, well.....a clock.

With lots of practice using your right hand you can become normal.
