When one gets old and cranky about changing out dies or tool heads, then its time to have more than one press bolted on the bench.

There's presses for swaginng operations, bullet sizing operations, and little Lyman Tru-line Jr. iddy biddy presses for fun loading. Lot of people turn up their noses at the 310 dies in Tru-line Jr. presses, but have found them to be great at reloading ammunition...especially the bullet seating operations.

In the course of time have tried many brands and types of reloading presses. The ones that don't pan out usually get traded or sold, sometimes I have duplicates of a press, or even triplets of them. Such a situation presently exist, have one bolted on bench and two under the bench.

Nothing wrong with them, just got some much needed dies with a good deal on a press with other accessories on ebay.

Some of my gear is state of the art, some is over 50 years old. I only get stuff that is useful in reloading and works well for me.

If I must..........

Mind you that this is only temporary. I am going out next week and buy a whole new bench or make one. Either way, I have outgrown my starter bench. ;)

Maxinquaye, nice set up, but be warned that the heater under the bench may keep you warm...but it is not good for the smokeless powder you may be reloading with.

Any powder should be kept in a cool dry place away from fire, heat, electricity or spark. Read the labels on the can of powders.

The heat can effect the burning rate of the powder, thus affecting your accuracy.

Wow...this is going back a ways!!

I had to look through the first couple of pages to see which bench I had posted. It was about 3 versions back!

I guess it's good to see people using the search....

Just got my first tumbler, a Frankford Arsenal Midway house special from a very nice guy...so imagine that next to my converted TV stand.....

I didn't clean up. And, yes I am a pig. :D

When my youngest gets married this fall, My wife says i can have this room all to myself. I'll believe it when it happens.

Gratuitous gun pic just because.

Yet another weekend project garage Bench. I like it though. It has worked out well, and has a lockable cabinet with shelves for a single dad to keep his boys out of the powder and bullets.

I'm a new kid here at the THR so I thought I would show off my little apartment getaway since this thread was brought up again. My pc is right next to my bench so I can either load or play on the pc!

I keep the Dillon CV2001 case vibrator out in the garage. I don't want to listen to it nor deal with the dust. I also have the CM2000 tumbling media separator.

It's nice to have a lockable basement gun room, (although, If I ever sell the house, the gun safe will stay down there).

Too Neat

It's really a blast checking out everyone's reloading setups. It's like looking in someone's icebox, errr, refrigerator (as my daugther keeps correcting me) and seeing what kind of science experiments are stored there. I think these photos only have value if they're depicting what the bench usually looks like in use. None of this cleaning up stuff. There's such a thing as too neat. Cleanliness is not a virtue.Too clean scares me.

I'll post my picture as soon as I can get near enough to the bench with a camera, without doing serious bodily injury.

My messy little corner of the apartment!

I use those Ziploc disposable containers because I am to cheap to buy Dillon's Akro bins! A great $3.99 solution.

Just realized checking thru - I never updated my pic with the current setup. Mind you right now it is less orderly than in the pic which is probably a year old now but - apart from some extra clutter it is the same.

Here's a picture of my humble little reloading set up. It's also my first post to the forum.

Man, you people are all 'neat freaks' (except for Longrifleman). I never keep anything that organized.
