Is anyone else SICK of all the airsoft crap on the web, I mean come on!! Every other Google I do for a Firearm, comes up with airsoft....

And Worse yet, Ive almost bought stuff for my guns, and then realized its not for a real gun, its for a plastic toy!!!:cuss:

I could just be going crazy, but I think I'm right;)

Do not laugh too much...

In Switzerland now airsofts can only be bought in gunshops...

in england, when you transport an airsoft, you have to secure it, remove the magasine and the power source, and lock it.. :banghead::banghead::banghead:

Airsoft guns in the same model as your primary carry weapon make for cheap and easy home practice.

I just wish I could figure out why there are no more GLOCK airsoft guns?

the only problem i have with airsoft toys is that many of those looks and feel far to real and people use them as if they are real.

i dont mind if a kid owns a Arsenal of airsoft stuff that would make a division jealous, but if they start pointing them at me or other people, then the "toy" is no longer a toy because it can not be identified as such.

there where allready several cases where Police shot teens, or does anybody remember the video from the UK where two morons with airsoft guns walked up to cars/people, screamed "ALAH AKBAR" and 'opened fire'?
what are you going to do in that case? going to take the chance, thinking that it might be a Airsoft rifle, or do you draw and fire?

Search engines are always going to bring up alot of irrelevant crap. So just deal with it. Granted, there is an airsoft counterpart to almost any firearm you can think of, so that doesn't help.

Fellow airsofter here. ;)

a little black paint, sharpie, or tape, and its the same as a real gun... there was someone in washington not too long ago robbing stores with one. It makes me sick...:barf:

I found one on the side of the road once, that was a mini uzi. It was full size, metal, It took me about a min to figure it out.... I keep it on top of my safe, If anyone brakes in Hopefully they will take it and not bother with the safe:)

That guy needs to take a look at the "Bringing a fake gun to a gunfight" thread!!!

Internet is a faster medium of communication.
With today's IT, Internet is Real Time.

Marketing has always used mediums of communication to promote ideas, services, products and activities.

Whatever is being marketed, eventually gets run into the ground, until folks are sick and tired of it.

Fads, and Fashion come and go, because there is money to be made in new and all the peripherals.

Internet is a faster medium of global communication which gets folks on the bandwagon quicker and makes folks sicker quicker.

I am not against Airsoft or what its about, I like to paintball, but... Airsoft has gone Too FAR... thats all im sayin, I just get tired of looking up parts, and guns only to be doobed by an airsoft toy... thats all just venting

They kept going KABOOM!!!!? ;)

I can't believe that I have seen some airsoft rifles that sell for as much, if not MORE, than their actual counterpart!

In Michigan you have to have a purchase permit to buy a BB or Pellet Pistol. There is some unnesessary gun control for you.

Google search tip:

If you want to EXCLUDE something from a Google search, include the term preceded by a minus sign. If it is a phrase, put it in quotes.

If you find that your search on

"Sig P226"

brought up a bunch of Airsoft stuff, repeat the search as

"Sig P226" -airsoft

and it will omit any pages with the word "airsoft" in them.

i saw this guy on youtube talk about his ak47,then i realize it was a airsoft i just had to laugh, they really take there dumb toys serous

I just hate the name.

Sounds like a womens deodorant spray.
I'd respect it better if it were called: "Air-Hard".:D

Here's something even nuttier. I went to a website because it was testing/reviewing some guns I was interested in. It turned out to be a British site where they were "reviewing" real guns alright, but they were "deactivated"! These poor guys were actually excited about their "guns" even though the only way they could own, say, a P-226 was to have a version that had been rendered governmentally correct-by being permanently deactivated.

It's kinda like reviewing paperweights.

Nope, I love airsoft.

RDCL: I'd be down with that, but only if the upgraded guns can be called "Air-Hard: With a Vengeance" ;)

"Well, John, as you can see the P226 does a fine job of weighing my documents down. Even with breeze gusts up to 10 or 15 kilometers per hour, you can rest assured that your important papers will not be going anywhere.

On the other hand this .45 Heckler and Koch USP doesn't leave the ugly indentations and marks on the papers like you get with the 226. If those kind of things bother you then I'd go with the HK. But overall both of these items do a great job of keeping my reciepts, letters, car titles from being scattered about. But for the sheer style factor I would have to go with the P226 over the USP.
