I’ve owned and shot both, however the decision is more of a personal preference. Like with any other trigger system, you’ll find folks that like them and others who do not. Your best bet is to try to find a gun shop that carries a SIG with a DAK trigger that you can handle prior to purchasing one. In my case, I have several pistols which utilize SA, DA/SA and DAO triggers and I shoot them all pretty well. A few years ago I decided to purchase a SIG which had the DAK trigger based upon reviews that I read. After a good deal of dry firing and several range sessions I decided that the trigger wasn’t for me. I simply could not adapt to it and shoot it accurately. I purchased it for a very good price and in the end decided to have it converted to DA/SA, which I now enjoy shooting. Good luck with your decision.
