I have a Sig P220, the Exeter version, with the internal extractor. I had a single failure to extract a fired case out of 50 rounds several weeks ago. No biggie. Shot it again the other day, same problem.
The slide is retracting fully because the slide breech has pushed the next round up under the partially extracted case, effectively tying up the pistol. My other .45's chug along w/o a hiccup with the same ammo (4.8 gns WW231, 200LSWC or a 230 FMJ).
Do I have to send this to Sig, or is there an updated extractor I can order and install myself?
