I've just bought a Sig P220ST, and I was wondering if anyone here had tried the ProMag 10 round P220 magazines? If so, how did they work for you? Thanks
The two ProMag 10-rounders I had would not function properly until I cleaned out the thick grease that's all over the springs. I sprayed them out with some of that ultra-quick-drying gun spray cleaner and now they work fine.
Go to CDNN Investments and order some Novak mags for the P220. They are $20 a piece. Haven't had any problems with mine and neither have the guns over on the SigForum.
I second or third what Sactown and leper65 said. I recently bought a 220ST and then bought 4 8 round Novak/ACT mags from CDNN. I have not had any problems at all. They are great mags.
I've got 4 Promags for my 220 and they work just fine.
No feeding trouble with HP's or Ball ammo.
I originally bought them as range mags but they have never given me any cause to doubt their reliability.
The only thing one needed was a little rap on the metal floor-plate with a punch to make the dimlpe on it engage the hole in the polymere base pad a little better.
Mine are the 8rd ones but if I'd use them for carry I'd load only 7.
I've got two of the ten rounders, and they work just fine. I havent put them thru a lot of abuse, but they went with me to a shoot me and some buddies had, and they didnt give me any problems.
