I was cleaning my daily carry Sig P238 last night, gave the sights a shot of Birchwood Casey Gun Scrubber (which is supposed to be synthetic safe) and the paint in the white dot sights melted and washed out.
Should I try calling Birchwood Casey and ask why their "synthetic safe" cleaner ruined my sights? I feel like that wont go far.
Should I call Sig and ask them for new sights?
Or should I just buy new ones, original or night sights, and replace them myself?
Any thoughts?
