About a year and a half ago i was looking for a new carry gun. I always carried snub nose revolvers, maybe a Makarov once in a while. I had owned a few small 9mms including a PF( but was never impressed. I was going to buy a S&W airweight but I noticed the P938 at the gun shop and decided to have a look. Loved the feel of it and the look so I picked it up for about $700.
I couldn't be happier with it. It feels great in the hand and for how small it is the recoil is not bad at all. Nothing like a straight blow back pistol and I have no problem putting a few boxes threw it without any pain.
It's accurate at 25 yards. I have no problem hitting a 6" steel plate at that range. The sights are good and were nearly zeroed out of the box.
The only issues I had were with the magazine. The extended mag had an issue of jamming when loading the first round. The problem was due to a very stiff mag spring. I left it loaded for a while and this seems to have fixed it. I haven't had an issue with it for a long time but it was a problem when i first got it.
The only other issue is the flush fitting mage changes the feel of the gun a lot. Without your pinky holding the gun down you get a lot more rotation. I highly suggest only using the extended mag.
