Finally got back to the range.
My wife's 260 hit the bulls eye on the first shot. Like it does every year.
I changed my muzzle device on my AR for deer season. So it needed 1 inch down and 3/4 left.
My poor tasco world class finally decided to bite the dust. So I need to put a different scope on my 7.62x39. I'm not sure what it's going to be. I have a 2-7, 3-9, and 4-12. Probably going with the 2-7.

Don't know where you are, but around here, 3x9 would be my min. This is because my normal hunting options are anywhere from 100 to 300yds. My last kill of the season last year was 230yds.

IMO, 2-7x is an under rated range for a general-purpose rifle/scope combo. If I ever scope my 30-30 again, that or a 1-6x is likely what I'll choose. 3-9 on that gun was too much, particularly since I'm now used to shooting it with iron sights.
I agree. I found how good 2-7x32 is when I stuck one on my inline. The field of view is huge while being powerful enough to easily make a 200 yard shot.
