When I play with different loads in my muzzle loaders I run them through my Caldwell chronograph.
Since I mostly do my test shot in my workshop, and I am too cheap to spring for a chronograph that comes equipped for night indoor use, I needed to figure out how to use it indoors. My solution is to hang two Harbor Freight LED Lights under the sun shade.
This lists at $3.98 in the Harbor Freight catalog, but there often are coupons available giving them away free with any purchase. To hang them from the sun shades I bent a piece of 5/8” steel banding material around the sun shade and used the magnet on the side of the light away from the light to hang it from.
Not the most elegant solution, but it works.
