I just recalled how for about a few hours to a day, durring the beginning of the entire event(I believe it had flooded by then) reports of one or more snipers shooting at police and evacuees. And have since heard nothing about it.
I would expect that if someone was really out there shooting at the helicopters as reported, and police there would be some sort of investigation. I mean there were saying for a good number of hours that they couldn't land because of gunfire.
And yet I've never heard of who died. Who was doing it. How many. I never heard of any bodies. It just disappeared. And I have to wonder was it real?
Can anyone help me with this?
edit: a few links I rummaged up
