This morning at a flea market I picked up 5 USA made Schrade knives. All new with the boxes, although a couple boxes are in kind of rough shape. Here's what I got; A 160OT "Mountain Lion" straight knife, a 60T "Golden Bear" lockback, a 970T "Buzz Saw Trapper", and two 507SC (LB7 type) Scrimshaw lockbacks. Like I said, all in the boxes with sheaths, three of them still have the wax paper wrapped around them. Total price $100 even. I figured I couldn't get hurt, since Schrade is essentially out of business, except for the new Chinese imports. What do you guys think? Did I do alright?

7 posts and he comes here to tell us he scored on a whole fist-full of US Schrades!

I'm so proud of you!

Ye Gads

Nicely done!

If you're going to rub our noses in it, you might as well post some pictures.

It's only right.

I'm traveling right now. I managed to get a couple pics on a borrowed camera, now if I could figure out how to post them.

Upload the photo to a image hosting site. I use photobucket.com (free).
Then when you post just copy and paste the "image code" into your post and the image will show.

Is there a Moderator in the house?

Listen, we got a new member with seven posts that steals knives *grin*

You know that rule where the new guy buys the ammo?
I humbly submit we substitute knives for this new member.

Heck, he needs to buy a lottery ticket!

*smile*

OK, I finally got a chance to give this a shot. Let's see how I did. These are the Schrades from the Sunday flea market.

Well, they came up as attachments, so I'm not sure what I did wrong. But if you're interested you can click on them and see what I got for killing time on a Sunday morning at Mary's flea market in OKC. Being on the road for work does have an occasional benefit.

Why I remember when the earth flat and we used to walk uphill , barefoot in the snow to attend summer skool in July here in the south, and then have to walk uphill, barefoot back home in the snow from summer skool...we would not even stop at the store to look at them knives...*tongue-in-cheek*
