So, I got a response from Midway about ammo...

So, I just got a response from Midway about some ammo. I inquired about some more Hornady ZMax since that is what my rifle is sighted in for and they tell me that it is discontinued. This is news to me. I wonder if it had to do with the shooting? I wonder if Hornady pulled it because they felt like they needed to be somewhat in the aisle of doing the perceived right thing by the left and that is to help curtail the violence by taking something considered violent off of the market. I am sure it got a bad wrap just because it is marketed as zombie ammo. I don't know if that is true but if it is it is ridiculous. That makes me junk there is stuff out there but manufacturers are not releasing it all for whatever reason.

Yes, it is. As mentioned its pretty much the same thing as vmax. Even though I thought it was different in some way because I always got better results with ZMax out if my rifle.

Z-max was always supposed to be a limited run. Think even Hornady was shocked at how well it sold.
