I hear ya. The prices are what drove me away from Sierra too.

The 208 AMax, and 155 Scenar are my bullets nowadays.

This is why I just love the '06. Art that is handy information about your bullet weights and sightings. Here on the east coast, I shoot the 165 grain sierras, but in truth I could get by very well with the 150s, and if I ever go out where the big critters are at least I know the sightings will not be terribly off with the 180s. Man the '06 is just so versatile.
