but i'll tell you, i was point shooting with my g/f's kids with a nerf dart gun. the grip angle is PERFECT for me and quick point shooting and good wrist support...

its also probably more extreme of a grip angle than the majority of auto pistols made. i'd probably have to grind my G17 a fair amout to equal the angle of the dart gun.

anyhow. here comes my question.... can i get a more extreme grip angle with an autoloader or revolver? i'd like the G17 to sit higher in the back and lower in the front to make my wrist in its most natural position....

dont care about cheap. just want more of an acute (i think) grip angle than the G17 is. ;)

acute meaning MORE rather than less than a 90 degree grip angle?

Check out a Steyr pistol, the grip angle is more severe than a Glock, and the trapezoid sights are extremely accurate in rapid fire once you get used to them.Trigger is very much like a Glock...

accute = smaller than 90 degrees Obtuse = more than 90 degrees...in a mathmatical sence. If you are talking about the angle then you want your grip to have a more obtuse angle.

Ditto what Kirkcdl says.....

Those Steyr pistols are great and once you get used to the sights, you won't go back to a dot and notch. I hear they are back in production now and should be coming in country soon. Sadly, they won't be importing the compact "S" models.......chris3
