Don't know who has what in stock- if you have a decent FFL, you can ask them to check with their distributors and see who has the IAC guns in stock that they deal with. They'll also tell you how much they can sell you one for. Here's the IAC distributor list- http://www.iacshotguns.com/dealers.html .
The Hawk 981/982 has the same receiver profile as the 870, the Pardner has a 'humpback' sort of receiver profile. Other than that they appear mechanically identical. The top of the Pardner receiver is drilled and tapped, the 981 is not, the 982 has GR sights on board from the factory The Pardner is of course an H&R distributed product, though it is made by the same people (Hawk Industries).
I know galleryofguns.com has them. I'm pretty sure Bud's shows both the 982 and the pardner in stock as well. The 982s just came back in stock at galleryofguns within the past few weeks, after being out of stock for maybe a year or so.
I have both in stock as well as Tri-Star Cobra Tactical and Legacy Escort Aim Defense shotguns.
I also have some Charles Daly Defense and Remington 870s in stock as well.
