If you are going to get one to shoot a lot as in rapid fire get a chrome lined barrel, but if you want
it to hunt or slower or steady fire for targets get a Remington.
I have owned 2 of their AR10's & 1 of their AR15's. Then during a ban scare I got offers for then beyond reason
& would have been nuts not to sell them.
Both AR10's super accurate with 18" or 20" barrels in 7mm08 & .308 with reloads could -almost- touch
at 100 yards. The .223 did what most 18" AR15's do, very accurate & runs well. The factory magazines in
all 3 sucked so I got Mag PUL & solved what usually happens with most MFG.
If I am not mistaken -for real- there are over 130 manufactures of the AR platform & every one of them
claim they are the best.
This is a guess, there are over a million companies that make accessories for them most of them overseas.
