Illinois considers all blackpowder guns to be firearms. Same goes for any airgun rated 700 fps or more. Therefore must have FOID and new sales have to go through a dealer. Ridiculous, but that's the way it is here.

They are able to run their business any way they choose.The point I'm trying to make is that CTD and other sites WILL ship any other firearm BESIDES black powder to IL.
Cheaper than dirt will sell me a S&W MP22 handgun and have it shipped to an FFL.
Cheaper than dirt WILL NOT sell me a BP long gun, revolver, or handgun.
Despite nothing in IL law saying otherwise.
