I use bigger 2' X 2' wood frame trays with 1/4" galvanized screen in the bottom of them. Fill the screen about 1/2 way, and shake. Dirt falls out. Pull out all rifle cases. Shake, pistols cases for the most part stand on end. Pick out 45, then 40, then 9, then 380. Only thing I dont like about it is if I would have use 3/8" screen I think the 22s would fall thru, but I think at that point the pistol cases wouldnt stand on end then. I also wish I would have use SSTL screen so I could have used them for drying brass post wet tumbling. Galvanized screen leaves nasty marks on the brass when it dries.
