Anyone know where to get a decent deal? Ive used precision delta in the past but it looks like their 38/357 bullets are lead, and I can ONLY use FMJ (dont ask). Anyone know of anything for around $80/k or less? I would use Zero bullets but they are almost $100/k and thats too much imo. I tried searching the library first, but couldn't find anything.

Sorry. What about Plated?

Well, you can look at www.wideners.com, www.grafs.com, and www.powdervalleyinc.com, www.patsreloading.com and I think you'll find that a dime apiece is pretty reasonable for what you're looking for.

If you want to use PLATED bullets, you could try Berry's bullets (Grafs sells them). Or you could go with the worst of both worlds - Raineir bullets are plated but at the price of jacketed.

So... I started shooting Berry's bullets. Plated - I don't know if that's close enough to satisfy whomever it is demanding jacketed bullets.:scrutiny:

Good luck.

I use berry's plated in my 9mm, love it. But they can not be used either. Strictly FMJ, thanks for the suggestion though.

See, the deal is I refuse to use lead, I shoot indoors and don't like it. Plated WOULD work, but i'm looking to buy just 1k bullets that I can use for light 38s, and heavy magnum rounds. With the crimp required and velocity of the magnum rounds I don't think the plating will hold up.

Out of luck.

I dunno - if you're looking for REAL jacketed bullets, you should be prepared to part with at least a dime. I just checked half a dozen places online, no go.

Montana Gold has true jacketed bullets delivered to your home for a reasonable price if you're willing to buy in bulk.

125gr JHP = $296 + $5 (home delivery) for 3,750 bullets = 8 cents each (delivered)
158gr JHP = $295 + $5 (home delivery) for 2,950 bullets = 10.2 cents each (delivered)

https://secure3.mooseweb.com/montanagoldbullet.com/pricelist.tpl

And their web site shows them in stock!

Plus, nothing makes your Postal Service worker happier than delivering 65 lb boxes of bullets to your home (often multiple boxes). Trust me on this...
