sources for vintage ads and materials

I am looking for advertisements and ammunition boxes etc from the years that a few of my guns were born. I plan to display them as a set, such as my 1928 Remington model 11. Are there any sources for advertisements or should I simply look at old magazines and such to find these? Vintage shotshell and metallic boxes are easily printed but are there good sources for reproduction pieces? I'm thinking basically a small museum type display giving the feel of the proper vintage. I eventually want to include taxidermy critters into the mix but don't yet have anything mounted.

There are tin reproduction vintage posters that are commonly available. Is that something you have in mind?

Tin is neat but I want more authentic. Old yellowed paper next to a 761 year old gun seems right. It seems logical I could find something in a sears catalog but I want something model specific. Imagine displaying a Thompson with a legit paper about AL Capone on one side and an advertisement where the gun was for sale for $199.95 on the other side with a handful of empty 45acp laying around...or a winchester 94 displayed with an ad from the turn of the century and articles about some old west gunslingers.
My first project is my model 11. I want an ad either introducing it or playing it up in the early 1900s, through the late 1920s when my gun was made (preferably November of 28) and an article about the gun and it's proficiency at getting ducks as it was mainly intended for, or accounts of historic exhibitionists of the time using it for some difficult feat.

The guns are each individually awesome whether shiny and new or old and worn out. I want to showcase them for me and my guests to admire in a manner that honors the gun and it's purpose or historical significance.

No firearms 761 years ago. Primitive gun powder, but no firearms. No paper either. snicker.
In any case, 1920's vintage periodicals are pricey collectables themselves. So is vintage firearms advertising stuff. Shows up at gun shows and flea markets occasionally. Also at auctions.

There's a retailer with a catalog/website that markets old tin sign artworks & reprints from the 1880-1960s era of the US shooting sports. S&W, Colt, Winchester, Remington, Ruger, etc.
I got my dad a cool Remington hunting sign from the 1940s in the early 1990s.
They were $10-25.00 then so Im not sure what the art/ads are now, .

I moved, but there was a photo dealer who worked the gun shows in the Los Angeles County area who specialized - at least at the gun shows - in old photos.

Many were of people of past eras, but also of buildings, automobiles and some advertising as I recall. One might try a web search of antique photos.

I do sort of the same thing. I don't have a specific year, but I really like old advertising of gun and related items.

Tin signs....

Smokey Mountain still sells the gun industry tin signs.
I looked over the selections. They still have the tin Remington sign I got my father as gift($9.99) & they offer a few other cool designs. I like the Colt military promotion sign(Colt Leads The Way...).

If you have a "man cave", gun room or shop room, the signs would be cool to add.
